The Cindy Sheehan Question!

Photograph of a San Francisco rally in solidarity with Cindy Sheehan

Cindy Sheehan and hundreds of anti-war supporters are camped outside of George Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas.

As a mother who lost her son in Iraq, and as a United States citizen, she is requesting a meeting with the president, so she can ask the question:

"What is the "Noble Cause" for which people died in Iraq?"
But his imperial majesty, Mr. Bush, has so far denied this request, and his entourage drove past the deomonstrators in silence. Cindy Sheehan held a sign that read:

"Why Do You Make Time for Donors And Not For Me?"

  • Thanks for posting this. I'm trying to get some mamas together to head out to Crawford and offer our support.

  • Umm Some Nobel Causes:
Thousands of people disappearing, under Sadam or Oday’s orders...
Iraqis don’t have to worry about a dictator gassing them...
Oh...not to mention that Iraqis can now elect representatives into their government...

Go ask the average Iraqi if it was a noble cause for the U.S. to free them from Sadam. Sure they want the Americans to eventually leave, which is only a matter of time…but they are ultimately grateful for their new freedom. And THEY WILL tell you it was a noble cause.

  • You guys must not be following this story very closely. Cindy Sheehan already has met with the President. And after the meeting she had nothing, but good things to say about him. This all strangely changed recently. All of a sudden she feels the need to provide material for the next Michael Moore movie. Now she is getting used and abused by left wing fringe groups and insane arabs like those on this site.

  • What does Sheehan's meeting Bush earlier have anything to do with her wanting to meet him again, and ask him the question?

Seems simple enough --- Bush meets with Cindy Sheehan, she asks him a question, Bush answers, and we all get to hear exactly what is this "noble cause."

  • Mr. Noble,

Why should he meet her? Out of respect for her son's service and her loss as a mother he DID meet her. She had the opportunity to pose any questions she wanted. She spoke kindly of the President afterwards. It wasn't until the leeches on the liberal fringe started using her for the political agenda that she drastically changed her position.

Do you need to see a picture? Well HERE is a picture with Cindy Sheehan, along with her family posing with President Bush.

This is exploitation of the most disgusting kind the way you and others on the left are using this woman.

  • FYI:

Those pictures were formerly posted on a Sheehan family website, but have since been removed since Cindy and the liberal fringe groups began their campaign...Go figure!

However, as you can see, they're still cached by Google.
